April is Autism Awareness Month

April is World Autism Awareness Month, a great opportunity for all of us to come together in recognition of a condition that affects 1 in 100 people in the UK.

To mark World Autism Awareness Day on Wednesday 2nd April, the Stafford and District Branch of the National Autistic Society will be seeing how far they can spread the word about autism.

Volunteers will be holding a stand at Stafford Railway Station from 9am to raise awareness about the condition and will be asking passengers to support them in their challenge.

For more information about autism and the support available locally you could visit the websites of the Stafford & District Branch of the National Autistic Society or the Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society.
