Volunteers are invited to join a locally organised event where they will be able to feedback their thoughts, ideas and opinions on the effectiveness and efficiency of the service.
The NHS111 service which was launched in the West Midlands last year as an enquiry number for urgent health queries is seeking willing participants to review the service. NHS111 wish to capture patient and public views and opinions on the 111 helpline, and to gather information that will help to shape the future delivery of the service.
Volunteers can be experienced 111 users, or completely new to the service. Anybody interested in taking part in the focus groups will be invited to call through to a test call centre in advance so that they can experience the service first hand.
This important work forms part of the strategy development of the service in the West Midlands area and will assist the commissioners of the service to establish patient and public opinion moving forward.
