Patient engagement to shape autism services extended

Parents and carers of children with autism have an extra week to help shape the future of local services in southern Staffordshire.

The on-line survey to capture views of parents and families has been extended until midnight on Sunday 30 June and additional events to meet with parents and children are also being held.

Officers from the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula and Stafford and Surrounds have been engaging with service users and their families to shape what the future service should look like once the current contract comes to an end.

The CCGs must award a new contract using a tendering process and invite potential providers to apply to comply with Government regulations around NHS contracts.

If you, or someone you know, has experienced autism services in southern Staffordshire and would like to have your say, please complete the on-line survey here.
